Who We Are

This website (michaelanti.com) is run by Pastor Michael Anti Ministry, based in Accra, Ghana(“we”, “us”, “our”). We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy. By using the site you agree to it; if you don’t agree, please don’t use the site or place an order.

Information We Collect

We collect only what we need, and only when you give it to us or use a feature:

• Messages and prayer requests — when you use the contact form we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), the subject and your message. Prayer requests can contain sensitive personal or religious information; please share only what you are comfortable with.
• Newsletter sign-up — your email address, if you subscribe using the sign-up form in the site footer.
• Orders — there are no customer accounts; you check out as a guest. For each order we keep your name, email address, phone number (optional), the books and formats you chose, any coupon code used, the order total, your order number, the payment status and the Paystack transaction reference. For physical books we also keep your delivery address and any delivery notes you type.
• Digital downloads — for e-books we record the download link issued for your order, when it expires, and how many times it has been used, so that links can be limited and protected.
• Payment details — payments are taken by Paystack (see below). We never see or store your full card number, card PIN or mobile-money PIN.
• Technical data — basic, aggregated statistics about how the site is used (such as which pages are viewed), and standard server logs (for example IP address, browser type and the pages requested) that our hosting provider keeps for security and troubleshooting.

How We Use Your Information

• To take payment, confirm and fulfil your order, and email your receipt;
• To deliver e-books — by email (with the PDF attached where its size allows) and by secure download link;
• To contact you about delivery of a physical book, including agreeing the delivery cost;
• To let you follow an order on our Track Order page (you need your order number and email);
• To answer messages, prayer requests, speaking invitations and partnership enquiries;
• To send ministry updates and new-book news, only if you subscribed;
• To prevent fraud and abuse, keep the site secure, and improve it;
• To keep accounting and tax records and meet our legal obligations.

We rely on your consent (for example, newsletters), on performing the sale you asked for (orders and delivery), on our legitimate interests in running and securing the site, and on legal obligations.

Emails We Send

When you order, we email you an order receipt, and — for e-books — your download links. We also send a notification to the ministry team so the order can be handled. We send newsletters only to people who have subscribed, and you can ask to be removed at any time (see “Contact Us”). The newsletter form never sends automatic messages to the address entered, so it cannot be used to email other people.

Payment Processing

Card and mobile-money payments are processed by Paystack. When you pay, you are sent to Paystack’s secure payment page and your payment details go directly to Paystack. We receive only confirmation that payment succeeded, the amount and the transaction reference. Paystack handles your payment information under its own privacy policy.

Who We Share Information With

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers that help us run the site, and only as needed:

• Paystack — payment processing;
• Vercel — website hosting, privacy-friendly analytics and file storage (book covers and e-book files);
• Neon — the database in which orders and messages are stored;
• Resend and Google (Gmail) — sending our emails, including receipts and download links;
• Delivery partners — your name, phone number and delivery address, when a physical book has to be delivered to you;
• Authorities and advisers — where the law requires it, or to protect our rights.

Transfers Outside Ghana

Some of these providers store or process information outside Ghana — for example our database is hosted in Germany and other services operate from the United States and Europe. Where information is transferred, we rely on providers that apply appropriate security and contractual protections.

Cookies & Local Storage

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. To make the site work we use your browser’s local storage to remember the items in your shopping cart and your light/dark theme choice; this stays on your device and you can clear it at any time. A secure sign-in cookie is used only by ministry staff in the admin area. Our analytics do not use cookies and do not identify you personally.

The Messages page can show embedded YouTube content and links to Podbean and social platforms. If you play or follow those, the provider may set its own cookies under its own policy.

How We Protect Your Information

Information is sent over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. Our database and admin area are access-controlled, payment details never reach our systems, and e-book downloads are delivered through time-limited, use-limited links (30 days and 5 downloads by default). Please keep your download links and order number private. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

How Long We Keep Information

• Order and payment records — as long as needed to fulfil the order and to meet tax, accounting and legal requirements;
• Delivery details — for as long as the order needs them, then with the order record;
• Messages and prayer requests — until they have been dealt with, and for a reasonable period afterwards;
• Newsletter emails — until you ask to be removed.

Your Rights

Under Ghana’s Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) you may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you may object to or withdraw consent for particular uses (such as the newsletter). To do so, contact us using the details below and include your order number if it concerns an order — we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can also complain to Ghana’s Data Protection Commission.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Anyone under 18 should ask a parent or guardian before placing an order. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will remove it.

Links to Other Sites

The site links to third-party platforms (such as YouTube, Podbean, Facebook, TikTok and WhatsApp). We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always on this page with its “Last updated” date; if a change is significant we will make that clear on the site.
